1.  Observe, examine, and record the characteristics of four living or once living organisms. Two of the four must be examined under a stereoscope.
2.   Regard the organism you are observing as though it has never been observed by humans.  You are the first to    observe and record your discovery.  
3.  Record your observations in the numbered boxes below.
4.   Draw the organism and label three different parts (head, leg, fuzzy, wings, bumpy etc.) of the item you are observing.
5.  All observations will include a 40 word written description of the object.  Written descriptions must be in complete sentences.  Record the number of words for each written observation in the space provided
